Don't have time to go in the store and be approached by sales people? That's OK, many stores do the same thing for their window displays, so you can get some really great ideas without ever walking into the store!
You really don't even have to leave your house for great ideas. The internet has a virtually endless supply of ideas. Start by visiting the web pages of your favorite stores, then do a few web searches and see what else you find.
There is a website for almost everything you can imagine these days, and home decorating is no different. Once you have an idea of the look you are going for and what the style is called, you can very likely find instructions on how to achieve it.
Once you get into it, you will really enjoy creating your own special decorate at home. Just start with ideas, than jump right in to implementation of your vision!
