Trends in the World of Men's Jeans

The focus is typically on the women, but men's fashion is just as important. We don't want half the population looking stylish and the other half wallowing in dowdy, unflattering apparel, do we? Trends in men's clothing, especially when it comes to jeans, don't fluctuate as much as women's, but there are still some styles to keep an eye out for.
Invest In
One of the biggest trends for men at the moment is the classic straight leg jean. Of course, skinny jeans can still live in your closet and come out to play as often as you like, but having a great fitting pair of straight leg is essential. For those days when you aren't feeling hipster and don't want to feel particularly trendy with boot cut styles, straight leg is the perfect option. Not only are they classic, but if done right, can look like absolute style perfection.
Give it a Try
If you are looking for a dressier pair of jeans. opt for the boot cut. These narrower in the thighs and knees with a slight flare at the calf are great for creating a slim and proportioned silhouette. A dark wash will take the boot cut to occasions where "nice clothes" are preferred, but still lend a casually pulled-together vibe. For just hanging out, try the style in a light wash or deconstructed, worn in look.
Keep on Hand
The slim cut, and skinny jeans for fashion lovers, is still in and will continue to be for some time more. If you never felt comfortable in the ultra skinny styles, try a slim cut that gives legs a little breathing room while still lengthening and thinning the bottom half of the body. These are a great choice for casual day where but can still be dressed up with sharp shoes and a well-fitted blazer. As usual, keep the wash dark for those special occasions where jeans are permitted.
When it comes to men's fashion, the style options are fewer than women's, but with a couple different jeans styles on hand, switching up style is super easy. To be on trend this year, be on the lookout for straight leg styles. If you don't already have a pair, now is the time to invest.
